Towards the Black Gate Whakapapa Tongariro National Park
An Ent at Isengard A location used in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy to show the felling of the trees at Isengard was Harcourt Park in Upper Hutt. When I visit I always look at the older trees in the park and think of the Ents and their supremacy. Reality mirrors film.
